This is just atrociously bad. The worst part is that I will still watch it because I love the LOTR universe but I had to say something after watching the first 20 minutes of the first. Why they would need to alter the fabric of the Tolkien universe with unnecessary improvisations and not use what is already there as writing material. How can Jeff Bezos spend a billion on this and not fire the whole production crew is beyond belief. The Hobbit was a huge disappointment as well lets see if this series can turn it around but I highly doubt it.
