I will no longer watch NCIS. It was my favorite of all series to watch. I have a serious. I just watched the new episode without Gibbs. Horrible. So, I'm not sure how your new cast will work out but for me, it would have been better if you had just cancelled. Gibbs, was what held the show together even when most of the cast were changed out. Cancel NCIS and put NCIS Los Angeles back on.
