One of the best books i’ve read in awhile. It’s funny and the authors writing style is very cynical and enjoyable. The book is an easy read but the characters are anything but surface level. I thought each one of them really added to the plot. Jeff had so many meaningful annodotes throughout his 45 days in the psych ward and I really like the natural flow of his evolution throughout his stay—felt very natural. The end definitely had a couple of plot twists I didn’t see coming. My only complaints were that I hated that he called his therapist cat poop and I wish I got to see him get reunited with allie. I saw a ton of similarities between this book and the classic novel “The Cather in the Rye” which I would recommend if you really liked this book.
