It tried to be a Battlefield but falls short. Battlefield finesse all areas, the soundtracks eg are absolutely mesmerising. The experience is heartfelt.
Trouble is MW finally listened and realised jet packs and sliding off walls gimmick doesn’t grab the market just the younger generations. Whereas battlefield grabs audiences of all ages.
For me the technical issues with MW the state of the game on launch is massive let down; farce really. So many issues and remember these games were born on PC and they’ve neglected PC gamers on this one. Lucky for most PC gamers are tech savvy so we always make it work; but the truth is if you want success the PC community should be targeted first. Targeting solely consoles only shows your urge to make $.
The disparity between platforms is obvious, in addition the game itself is engaging and it’s a welcome return after a decade of gimmicky releases. I myself left CoD more than decade ago but seeing WW2 CoD you could see they realise Battlefield is the way forward. They have tried here to do the same layout, design, game modes. To give individualism to the user; it’s good fast paced game. A welcome return but it’ll never beat a BF release; because they stay true to their traditions.

Answer this do you see Battlefield going into space and having jet packs?
Past is past but Infinity/Treyarch they all have a habit of not listening to fans or not having research teams full of variety of gamers diff ages and diff platforms.
For me Battlefield is the Google/Apple tradition whereas CoD reminds me of a Microsoft led company.
