Take no notice of the reviews, I think they appreciate more obvious movies and one reviewer needs someone else to say it is good before they all follow suit! This film has a subtly and tenderness that may have been missed I think, the interesting aspect is a man at the end of his life with all values of marriage and family destroyed reflecting on his place in the world, and where he has ended up, his work is overshadowed by his shallow boss and yet amongst it all he finds value and peace as he faces death. Johnny Depp does this so well and I am not ashamed to say that I find it moving. Watch it and make your own mind up. It is a tender film that will touch some.
