My heart is breaking but it was worth it

I went in expecting some cool art and a banger soundtrack. Across the spiderverse delivered that and so much more. I was laughing and crying and trying to catch every reference and I can't wait to watch it again and again to catch everything I missed.

Saw it yesterday with my mum, sisters and niece and it was lovely! The music is great and it does justice to the original while adding elements that makes it feel fresh. Like everyone else, I was hesitant when Ariel wasn't cast to look exactly like the animated version but within 30 seconds of seeing and hearing Halle Bailey on screen, you forget that Ariel ever looked any different. She's Ariel through and through! The Little Mermaid is iconic but was never my favourite Disney princess which perhaps makes it easier for me to accept the changes that were made. Of all the live action remakes from Disney I'd put this up with Cinderella. Ariel and Eric's chemistry was adorable 🥰

They lost the plot. disappointed. it had so much potential.

this show was so fun to watch and so sweet.
