I loved Even When Your Voice Shakes for its exploration of the need for survivors of sexual abuse to speak up. Amerley could've decided to heal in isolation but with the help of her lawyer friend, she learns the importance of speaking up even if it means being the centre of everyone's gaze. A fine book. I recommend!
