Brilliant writing. Best of reads. Classic British detective with lurid twist. Jasmine France is a transgender Bobby becoming both woman and private detective because of the force so there’s parallel personal story couple to crime fighting in the marginal world of sex and gender. The characters are incredible and reminiscent of Harlan Coben gifts. The plots are definitely Vera and hormone, I was transfixed and pulled along like an Agatha Christie suspense hardly able to put the book down. Great entertainment. Thank you.
