**Contains spoilers** I’m sorry but this is garbage, so bad that zero stars would be a fair rating it it was possible. I enjoyed the previous movies but this was simply awful … I never walk out during a film but the scenes in the night club, where the crowd carried on dancing while wave after wave of gunmen fired shots amongst them, made me think about just doing that; for a good 5 minutes during the shoot-out nobody even flinched & just carried on dancing! Even where one of the bad guys had an axe buried front-centre in his forehead, people next to him carried on dancing!! So many shots were being fired without hitting the intended targets but, incredibly, none of the bystanders seemed to get hurt. Just how incredible is that?! Then after at least 5 minutes of this, the scene switched to people fleeing the nightclub in a panic (which would have happened in a nano-second in reality) but the very next scene was back in the nightclub showing people carrying on dancing with the gun battles literally still carrying on around them! Then, there’s the scenes towards to end where John Wick climbs 122 steps, single-handedly killing 20+ bad guys along the way, only to be knocked down the entire flights of steps once he eventually reaches the top and having to do it all over again (killing another couple of dozen baddies of course!). The ‘pistols at dawn’ duel between John Wick & a blind man (yes really) wasn’t even the most stupid part of a very stupid film. I know & accept this is film is all about action-packed escapism but they’ve jumped the shark with Chapter 4. Can wait to see the kill count & shots fired numbers once somebody has been kind enough to keep a tally - it has to be one of the highest yet. Truly awful.
