It is certainly a significant improvement compared to the movie adaptation, yet it falls short in capturing the true essence of the animated series. This rendition adopts a more serious tone, whereas the animated show skillfully balanced seriousness with humor, which was a key element in its success. Unfortunately, this aspect seems to be lacking in the current adaptation.
