This book is wonderful! It provides information that helps analyze where a student is at with their understanding of orthography and how to determine where to start working with a student on skills that they are deficient in. These phonemic skills are critical to reading proficiency and comprehension.
The only challenge is figuring out how to apply the activities, which are designed for younger students to a student that may be in middle or high school so they do not view work as "too remedial" or "baby work."
The book itself is a wonderful resource for teachers!
