This book officially got me out of my reading slump!!! I was on the edge of my bed, seat, floor constantly with this book!! Like Saoirse is such a freaking badass with a heart of gold but don’t make that fool you into thinking she won’t do what she needs to do even if it wrong or right!!! Love a morally grey character ESPECIALLY when it’s a Black siren!!! Prince Hayes is such a lovable adorable puppy of a love interest, so wholesome and understanding but also has his own troubles to deal with which is amazing!!! And its a slow burn romance SO that makes it even better!!! The betrayal and lowkey plot twist had me ready to throw the book, my head was burning at it because WHAT?!?!?!?? Anyways, I need book 2 now or I’ll just won’t survive… I need to see Saoirse and Hayes Journey, Saoirse discovering herself more and more scenes with the use of powers from all the other faes and witches!! As well as more creatures that we got introduced to in the first book!!! If there is a fantasy book with an all Black cast, a badass morally grey FMC, a gold retriever love interest and much more, then this is the book for you icl!!
