The Phantom was my favourite comic strip during my childhood (born in 1944). Thoroughly enjoyed the movie with Billy Zane, and watch it at home periodically on DVD.
I have been hoping for sequels form the time that it came out, and sometimes see quotes from Billy Zane about making one (or more).
I guess we can only hope.
