I was enthusiastic about the show when it first came out, probably after an episode of “Gold Rush”, of which I am an avid fan. Sadly, after following several shows in season one, the show just disappeared. At some point many months later, it randomly showed up again, and (at least in my mind) just began to sputter and stagnate. It was then that I lost any interest, mostly due to all of the outlandish side-stories, countless dead-ends, and too many over-dramatizations. Watching some of Season One again today (November 10, 2023), I was sadly reminded of the illogic of it all. And it STILL hasn’t come to a conclusion after a multiple seasons. Reminds me of a Motion Picture years ago…“The NeverEnding Story“ (which it truly was), as I sat stuck in a theater watching strictly for my child’s benefit. The only Mystery for me is why it’s back.
