When, right off the mark in the first episode, they clear a kids soccer field mid-game to land a helicopter to pick up a lead character who looks to be just about old enough to have bought her first new Hyundai, whatever expectations I had for this series imploded.
Deciding to watch the second episode, I was not surprised to see that a survivor to the first heist, despite being told by the criminals "to pray to God" before letting her go neglected to tell the investigative team that all the crooks had funny accents, i. e., not American. That disclosure could have saved ten minutes of the team feverishly looking for U. S. ex-military commandos as suspects.
I'm, a glutton for punishment, so I'll probably cast a glance at episode 3, but if all the "wokeness" embedded in the first two episodes becomes as out-of-place prominent as the first two, that'll be it for me.
