Such a great show. Apparently very Real/nostalgic for anyone whose worked in this “industry” and each of its scenarios. It depicts the major stress that you’re under all day, every day! So unhealthy/constant trauma that they try to escape with sex and drugs. There is so much reality in each political scenario depicted and the writers take the time to go into the psyche involved. Showing the world how fragile all people really are. The characters are well developed and it doesn’t feel like a bunch of pretentious misfits running around with no substance. My boyfriend (ex trader in a bank) and I watched together and perceived scenes in different ways so that opened up great dialogue! This show truly depicts the stress of this industry and goes deeper into uncovering what motivates one person to the next.
