Spoilers ahead: Also, I've never seen the Broadway show so I'm only comparing to the original movie. So Before I went to watch this I had received very mixed reviews, so I tried to go in with an open mind. I feel like you have to think of it as a different movie rather than comparing it to the original or it seems worse. First, Cady. The acting was pretty bad, she was nothing like the original cady and in my opinion she cannot sing at all. Her character seemed very dry compared to lindsay lohans cady, no personality, same facial expression through the whole thing, and overall just a bad character in my opinion. Regina. She was a brilliant singer and overall a good portrayal of the original Regina George, but not quite as evil and manipulative as she was supposed to be I think. They also took out lots of stuff from the original that you cant take out, such as the iconic jingle Bell rock dance, and actually seeing the argument between cady and Regina before the bus comes along, and they replaced scenes like this with unneccessary and annoying songs. Overall though, not the worst movie ive ever watched, just probably won't be watching it again. 3/10.
