I have read about 10 books total in my life but I needed to read this particular book in the hope that it could facilitate a solution with personal experiences. Disappointing and fairytale is the best way to summarise my feelings towards this book. Certainly the methods proposed will work with some kids - but I imagine that would be a minority. And who has the time and energy to implement these things day after day - particularly if you have four kids. The final words in the book.... "now you know what to do". Well no I don't. I have taken something from the read....I will listen more intently to problems and be more empathetic and try to apply the suggested joint-fix rather than come up with the solutions myself.
