I have never seen a movie capture the plight of womanhood so well. Not only was it made for woman by woman, but it was truly a movie for everyone. I watched it with my fiancé and he was laughing hysterically the entire time. It spoke of heavy themes in a digestible lighthearted manner which I think allows everyone who watches the film to come to the conclusion that this is a man’s world and it’s hard to be a girl sometimes. It pushed really no agendas or politics. It said simply and eloquently hey it can be hard to be a woman, but when we uplift one another and stand together it make the whole woman experience much more palatable. The movie helped us to relate to one another rather than tear one another down. I absolutely loved it.
