My mother used to read "A Christmas Carol", every year at Christmas time. The original story is still best. The lesson , in my opinion, helping others does most to help yourself. The author wrote other stories teaching the same lesson, but this is best. Helping others, is the best you can do for yourself.

I WAS 3 YEARS OLD WHEN IT STARTED. BUT MY OLDER BROTHER AND I WATCHED IT ALL THE TIME. THAT AND CRUSADER RABBIT, AND THE LONE RANGER. THEN MY MOM WOULD CHASE US OUTSIDE TO "GET THE STINK BLOWN OFF US!." AS SHE USED TO SAY!
