I used to be made fun of for loving this movie by my buddies. This year I celebrate 25 years with the love of my life whom I met when she was 17 from a small farm town. I have referenced many times over the years that all I want in life is to go out "Notebook" style with her. Not ashamed that this is one of my favorite movies and also something that drives home the idea that marriage and commitment is a lot of hard work. The fruits of that labor is the love that is produced. Watched it again tonight with my Mother In-Law, wife and 16 year-old Daughter. Passing the love of this film to the next generation!
