In all honesty after watching every single James Bond film since l was a boy, my own viewpoint of Daniel Craig as Bond is since he took the role for Casino Royale the franchise has gone from strength to strength with the exception of Quantum of Solace, down to the script imo.
Craig's vulnerability after Vespers death is there for film goers to see, in No time to die he finally says goodbye to her, only for his new love Madeline Swann to have her own troubled past surface.
Craig's outgoing performance is strong and exceptionally believable, my only misgivings of the film are a disappointing Billy Eilish song, not my cup of tea at all, together with where does the franchise go now?
Bond is dead, Blofield dead, spectre gone, Felix Leiter dead. I know what you are all going to say a prequel REALLY!!
Now is the time to stop, end the legacy as it should be done on a high.
For me Craig's left the franchise at the ultimate point, l applaud you, your portrayal l don't think can be excelled.
I for one will not be watching a new Bond film, this leaves me wanting to say goodbye and mourn for the loss of a friendship l have enjoyed for all of my life.
No time to die is a triumph, goodbye old friend!
