This movie was very dark and disturbing. It did not portray the joker in the traditional villain way and did not line up directly with the story that has already been told about this character. This movie was not what was expected from dc as it was very off brand. The creators of joker tried to make this movie line up with current events happening in the world today (such as protests and movements) and did not stick to the story line that previous movies gave them. I would not recommend this movie to anyone, although this movie had a excellent opportunity for successful it fell far below my expectations.
