I finished watching 'Years and Years' this evening. Outstanding performances by everyone involved, and Russell T Davies' story of life in the UK a decade hence was extremely powerful. This might be a surprising comment, but I stand by this: this series should be compulsory viewing for all 17 year olds, on the cusp of gaining the right to vote. Be very careful with your voting right. If you fail to vote, just be careful what you wish for. Dystopian indeed, but what was so compelling about this series was the frightening thought that life could possibly look this way a decade hence. Many thanks to the acting and production team and the BBC for such a compelling series
