a really slow and boring version. The original, despite being silent, is just faster paced and more exciting making the story easier to follow. You kind of ignore its a silent film. Herzog's vision is just absolutely boring.

I was looking forward to this movie. Huge fan of Argento's work. When I learned Chloë Moretz abandoned The Little Mermaid to take on Suspiria, I thought oh this is going to be good! The original moved at a much more appreciative pace without feeling like it was fast forwarding through the story. Remake spends 2 1/2 hrs of seemingly going nowhere with throwing in some gruesome deaths. And apparently Chloë only had a brief part in the beginning. It's barely a one timer for me.
