I love Blackish. I hate Grownish. It is so ‘not’ relatable. Blackish was the modern day Cosby show and Grownish is the modern day Different World. Zoey was an interesting character to look at on Blackish and her style and quirky ways were interesting but she cannot carry a show - just like Denise Huxtable (Lisa Bonet)could not. I don’t like the people that the Blackish children are growing up to be either. I don’t think I know any mothers who celebrated their daughters having sex like Bow?? What the heck was that? And the fashion, majors, opportunities, dilemmas and characters are nothing I ever experienced in college. Garbage! Straight Garbage! Hire writers that fit the show’s demographics. I am a middle class African American who went to college and this show is foreign to me. I am so disappointed. 😔
