Mario becomes a hero, even after all the bad he has done, if the family finds out that he lied about Carlos, and then didn't knock the drugs out of his hand, they would be livid. Lara blames everyone else, but never takes any responsibility. The crooked police go to jail in the end, but all the gangsters get off free.
