I would have liked it had the author eliminated the thinly veiled political rhetoric around the themes of the book. The story didn’t require the not-very-subtle approach in order to make the novel make sense. I read fiction to ESCAPE the constant politization in everyday life through the media and film. I dislike the notion of being the captive audience of a person’s views when it is unexpected and unwelcomed.
