Really enjoyed these 4 series compulsive viewing I binge watched quite a few episodes at a time. Love the characters, John Cardinal who is a tired slightly jaded but really good detective role who is devastated as his wife spirals into mental illness and the introduction of Lise Delorme as a new partner who he really doesn’t want to work with. As the series develop John develops a grudging respect for Delorme as he seeks to keep the residents of Algonquin Bay safe. I was really devastated to find that there will be no series 5 it has become my recent favourite show. Really different and probably my first foray 8nto Canadian Tv. They did it so well!
