Jane Buggle

I was so looking forward to reading this book because I am interested in learning more about trees. The novel is well written and the details about trees are fascinating. The problem lies in the lack of depth in the development of the many characters. Ultimately, I didn't care about any of them and I just wanted to be finished with it. I found some parts quite preachy. Some sections of the book will linger with me, in particular, the lenghty occupation of the giant tree, Mimas.
