I love this show so much! I had a similar experience just like the story of Heartstopper! I had a crush on a girl when I was 17, and she was 16. I feel like I was Nick Nelson and that girl was Charlie because she was the first girl I fell in love with and she made me realize that I’m actually bi . I did lots of “Am I gay” quizzes just like Nick did in the show, so when I saw that scene I was like… I really wish there were shows like Heartstopper when I was in high school, so that I would know that I was not alone and I was not crazy and it was okay to love girls…. That girl and I…. we always said “I love you” to each other every day, but I was not brave enough to tell her that the way I love her is in a romantic way not just in a friend way. This is the very first time I wrote a review for a show. And the reason why I wrote one for Heartstopper is because I’m so so touched while watching it. it’s incredible. Thank you so much for making this amazing and beautiful show. Can’t wait to watch season 2 & 3 ❤️❤️❤️
