I was a boy when I saw the original movie and of course loved it. Now that I'm in my 50s I like a little nostalgia now and then and the new series fits the bill. It does seem to me that a bit of exposition has been left on the cutting room floor though. I've watched the first three episodes and really like the story and the acting. Maybe Disney can release a Directors cut and flesh out more of this world. I hope that Disney gives us more Willow!
