Wonderful miniseries, it shows the other side of the Hollywood WWII movies. For every nameless "evil enemy soldier" that is killed in a war, there is a story behind them and loved ones connected to them. We all suffer and mourn the same. For everyone who dies in a war, we lose a little bit of all of our humanity by losing their story, their feelings and thoughts, regardless of who they are, what country or ideology they fought for. There is no right about nationally subsidized torture and death. It's wrong.
