This isn't a thriller it's just a sad story. Very predictable throughout, including the ending. I read the entire book in 4 hours purely because I wanted to see if it got anywhere exciting, it did not.

This is more of a psychological thriller than a horror but really good nonetheless. People rating it low are mad that it's not scary but the story is really good and interesting. Worth the watch in my opinion and one the best films I've seen this year.
