I enjoyed the film. I thought it did a lot to set the record straight about an incredibly successful manager who took the Beatles from dingy Liverpool clubs to the top of the world. It also tells the story as to why criminalising homosexuality is appallingly destructive of lives. Brian is played brilliantly, John Lennon less so - to me he is also a middle class person who was basically comfortable with men like Brian as opposed to his depiction here as a naive working class boy which he wasnโt. Well worth a look - I am currently researching the truly awful management of the Smiths - the Midas Man was a great, great success.
