The movie is so confusing , chaotic, and bad yet I can’t help but love it. Megalopolis is definitely a film you’ll either love or hate, and honestly, I’m still torn about how I feel, which I think is the movie’s real talent it makes you question your own thoughts and opinions I love that feeling of uncertainty because it’s so different from other films I’ve watched! I would recommend it if you’re okay with heavy metaphors, but if not it might just feel like a weird fever dream lol
BIG SPOILER AHEAD ! :
When Caesar and Julia started their romance, I knew she would end up pregnant it was so obvious. The outcome of their relationship was predictable too. I’m glad they got a happy ending, but it felt a bit basic, even with the added drama of her father disapproving of their relationship. We’ve seen that done so many times still not the biggest issue tho
