Maya Woolfolk

Not really feeling an intense chemistry b/2 main characters, which is pretty important for a show about a love story. The actors are good, but the storyline lacks tension, the back & forth is pretty bland. Lack of buildup w/good backstories makes it hard to connect w/characters. There’s potential there, but right now it’s not connecting. Adding more drama, mystery, richness to the story would help pull the audience in more & keep us interested. I think most ppl are giving it a chance out of admiration for Ava & to support Black shows, but at some point it’s got to stand on it’s own merits.
