n my opinion RESIDENT EVIL 6 is very great video game and the best game ever in the Resident Evil series for me. I love the Michael Bay action and it's more intense then some of the boring survival horror titles such RESIDENT EVIL 7: biohazard. People who are saying this is not the Resident Evil they grew up with in the 90's are kinda right. This franchise was always survival horror right from the very first game. Stuff didn't really change until resident evil 4 where it gave us the players a third-person perspective camera and for giving players certain items when killing enemies. This would pretty much continue with RESIDENT EVIL 5 and it wasn't mainly a problem in that game either. Then when players got introduced to RESIDENT EVIL 6 there point of view for the series changed. Most players started realizing they weren't into the action genre for Resident Evil then they first thought. Sure Capcom is now back into their original survival horror route but they could at least do something for the action fans at least. If resident evil 4 is the game that gave players the third person perspective camera and dropping items when killing enemies how come that game is viewed as a masterpiece. What did RESIDENT EVIL 6 do wrong in comparison letting you roll on the ground? Players might say "Well there's way to many explosions in RESIDENT EVIL 6." resident evil 4 had the exact same thing! There were explosions in that game as well especially with the chopper Mike guy providing Leon backup and yet it wasn't a complaint. If players liked resident evil 4 and 5 for having both action of course they tried to do all they could with RESIDENT EVIL 6 and plus RESIDENT EVIL 6 was supposed to be the last Resident Evil video game in the franchise ever. But due to the "failure" of the game they continued the franchise.
