I’m a loyal reader of this author but I was really disappointed in this book. It dragged and as someone else suggested, it felt like someone else added the never ending food, drink snd menu descriptions and monotonous details that added about 3 extra hours to this book. Then when it finally got interesting toward the end, she abruptly just ends the book with an admission by a character. It’s like she got bored writing it and just decided ok, she did it. The end. It was a cheap shot that ruined it for me. After sticking it out for hours, I felt cheated.
