The ending is predictable after the 1st 10 minutes, and so many of the "events" are not based on reality. The guy able to sing and play so flawlessly to his "bestie" a decade after he supposedly gave up guitar playing and singing after running out of a contest in high school ... come on, movies may be fiction but fiction doesn't have to be palpably fake.
