I have never written a review for anything, but here is a rough analogy of what I think of American Dad. Each of the characters serve a different part to the Smith family. Stan, the brave CIA agent that 'protects' the family, Francine the wine enjoying, 'wife' of the house, Hayley and Jeff the two laid back stoners and Steve the sensitive intellect. Voiced by the same character as Stan, Roger the alien, he is the comic relief. Never have I once seen a character in a TV show that is so crazy, imaginative and relatable as Roger. Also there's Klaus, but no one cares about Klaus. The people that say that American Dad is identical as Family Guy obviously haven't seen the show, just because you see the same animation style, doesn't mean its the same. The people also on here say that the show isn't as good as its earlier seasons. Yes the 'based' Stan arc is amazing, but for today's society, its quite very dated and I'm surprised its allowed on Disney. The way of each episode, the creation of characters, a complete goated show, I've seen it over multiple times. Simpsons humour is for kids, South Park is for people that like hearing the word Jew 50 times a episode, Family Guy if your cultured and know tv references, but American Dad is all and combined.
