You've seen this before and it was a better film when it was Death Becomes Her. This was just bad. Now the pictorial style was great, filled with vivid colors and sets which were reminiscent of Stanley Kubrick. Demi Moore is always great on screen. Margaret Qualley should be in more films, she's brilliant. This film however, blah. The social commentary around beauty standards and how the media pushes the narrative of women over 30 are washed up, I got. There are a horde of wonderful actresses past 30 that you never see because thats what the film industry is driven by. Otherwise this film is a blood soaked, vomit fest๐คข. Death Becomes Her is a better film in every way and does it without gore or nudity. Find a better use of your time and watch something else or read a book.
