This series was ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Such a massive improvement on the film they tried to make, that was complete pants in my opinion. However BBC took His Dark Materials to another level! I am eagerly awaiting the second instalment The Subtle Knife. I’ve even gone as far as purchasing the books all over again (since moving house I’ve misplaced the last three) and intend on reading Northern Lights tonight! A massive 10 stars for this series!
