An incredibly powerful book. Dealing with controlling behaviour and destructive ambition.

This book is definitely a page turner. However, I grew tired of the constant historic spoonfeeding; the heavy use of cliched similes and hackneyed phrases about Life; the need to signpost meaning that leaves nothing for the reader to work out for themself.
