I have read most of the Logan Macrae books and a couple of gather Oldcastle books. I started this book with hopes of a good read. Two thirds of the way through Lucy appears to have a mental breakdown and to be living in an alternative reality. The plotline, thin already, crashed and after half an hout5 of wading through paranoia and manic ravings I simply gave up and decided not to finish the book. This is a very rare event in my reading life. Sad, and disappointed. I suspect i will hesitate to start another Macbride book.
