The only thing I will probably give credit to is the character cosmetics to resemble the characters. The fight scenes were the only interesting part of this show. Other than that, it really falls short what it means to portray the story of Halo. I would only say that Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn as well as any FAN made projects align true to the respect of Halo compared to this attempt on the Halo franchise.
Honestly, I seen better Elite models
The humanizing approach felt like John was a wreck where in the source material, he slowly recognizes it. Acknowledges it. In a calmly manner. However, they portrayed him as a wining baby.
The story developed here changed so much that it is really unrecognizable and does not connect at all to what the halo universe provides. I'm not blaming the actors here, it is mainly the writing that I have an issue with. I can say that majority of the fanbase of this show expected at least something similar to the games / books, but clearly they aimed a different direction. I could not bare to really watch this that I had to cancel my subscription. I would rather watch a Halo 2 Anniversary Game Cut Scene movie or even a Halo 2 Parody. I could say that this a high budget parody.
