Good day everyone. I've seen bits and pieces of this documentary pertaining to SELENA GOMEZ's as she tackles her mental health journey, her pain, the mania and down times, the anxiety, depression that all goes with mental health concerns. I am a Filipino and comes from the Philippines and works as a training consultant and instructor for a shipping company that sends Filipino officers and crew to overseas ships trading worldwide and conduct mental health awareness training sessions as part of their training requirements and supporting their mental health and well being while at sea. If there is one industry whose work and sacrifice is at times not given it's due by many people I have no doubt that would be the maritime industry and the seafarers who is largely responsible in keeping the world afloat specially during the pandemic brought by COVID-19 in 2020. The video interviews of Selena Gomez describing her mental health issues is one video I use during training sessions to explain to participants that no one is exempted and it can happen to anyone among us. At the end of the session, I notice that crew attendees were all amazed how strong and open Selena is in describing her mental health journey and her opening up on this timely issue is a plus to ordinary people like us who usually watch celebrities , a superstar just like she is and thinking that they are ok and not suffering given the fame and fortune that most big name celebrities enjoy. My MIND and ME is an eye opener that such view is totally not true at all and that celebrities also suffer behind all the fame , fortune and smiles in front of the camera. And that they are susceptible to mental health illness just like ordinary people. Selena well done and continue of staying healthy onwards as your journey is an inspiration to many. I hope to learn about WONDER MIND.Stay safe, God bless.
