I'm disappointed with Venkat Prabhu as a director. He should focus on more mature filmmaking. The movie feels like a "Hyder Ali" story—well-known and easily predicted by the audience. The first half is slow and boring in places, while the second half is overloaded with twists and poorly executed surprises, looks like the second half itself feels to run 3hrs. The movie could benefit from trimming its length and reducing the number of twists and surprises. Overall, it’s not as bad as a Leo movie but better than a Beast movie. I expected Venkat Prabhu to deliver something better than Manadu or Mankatha, but it was disappointing. I did enjoy Vijay's performance; he looks very youthful and like a college student, and his dance sequences are fantastic for his age. That's the only positive aspect of the movie. BGM not up to the mark.. Songs unnecessary.. Something like Average Commercial Masala Movie.. Vijay may choose even more better story. Overall, I’d give it 3/5. Once watchable. 😢😢👍👆
