This film was so tragic and yet it had its great moments. Two orphans who have to go through a war and hardships. It is extremely sad how everything unfolded and how the boy lost everyone, every minute, and eventually passed away. I think this was such a great film, I mean every second of the film was either sad or just shocking by the amount of pain and loss the Japanese had to go through during this time. This was war. I cried when his poor sister, setsuko died, who was so fragile, with no food, and covered in dirt. Her brother tried everything, and sacrificed so much to save her, but instead, she passed away. The fact that he didn't want to let go, and a key point to, she was was the only family member he saw die and the only one who got a properly burial. This film is one I would not want to see again because it was so sad to me. Beautiful, but tragic.
