Nerkonda paarvai- 4/5 P.s This review is not based on the aspect of a remake. This kind of film from a star like Ajith is really suprising. He does not have enough screen presence in the first half. At first Kudos to him for selecting this kind of script. His acting his really subtle and he has given one of his best performances in his career. H.vinoth's direction deserved many awards though it was a remake. He does a perfect job by staying true to the orginal. The leading actresses are brilliant in this film especially sharadha srinath. We have a connect throughout the film because of them. First half of the film is really racy and the pacing is done brilliantly. The pre interval scene is a goosebump moment. There is a paisa vasool fight scene by Ajith which is really adorable.Till the pre interval scene Ajith does not get enough screen presence and gives the leading ladies enough screen presence. This is one of the major highlight of the film. The movie ends with a brilliant first half and the interval block is perfect. The flashback in the second half seems unnecessary but it is a reasonable flashback as it is organic in the film.Then it is where the movie turns into a laudable courtroom drama. The movie lags in few scenes in the courtroom but it doesn't distrub the film. H.vinoth does the film brilliantly with an engaging screenplay for the most parts. The message conveyed in the film is the most important and relevant message for the society. The major highlight is it's casting as Ajith Kumar conveys the message in a non preachy manner and it is done beautifully in the second half where Ajith gets the screen presence and does it for the film. He again proves that he is a brilliant actor.Yuvan does a neat job and the music travels with the film though the songs are not so adorable. The bgm adds to the thrills. Overall verdict:It's a must watch for all people as it has a relevant message and it is told in an engaging manner!! 4/5

4/5 This film is the best example of a proper commercial film with a very good content and a social message. The film has all the ingredients to satisfy all centres of audience. Vikram's performance is the highlight of the film for sure.He is brilliant in all the avatars.He is brilliant in a particular scene where he enacts both as ambi and anniyan. The bgm adds the tension too. Shankar's direction in every scene is passionate and it is clear that he has worked hard for each and every frame. Vivek's one liners make the movie enjoyable. Prakash Raj is brilliant as an antagonist.Sadhaa too does her role well. Ar.rahman's bgm and songs improvise the scenes brilliantly. This is a gem of a film which has a strong social message too which is not preachy.. It's a hard hitting film in many parts.The pacing of the movie is done brilliantly. Not a single scene felt boring. It's a parental guidance movie as it has some gritty violence in certain scenes. Overall verdict:It's a brilliant movie both in terms of technical values as well as the script. It is a highly engaging watch and a must watch as it appeals to all centres of the audience. 4/5
